Post 10:Public Opinion

Is our opinion valid ? Or do we just speak our mind and no one cares to listen. We have evolved somewhat from 1945 when Winston Churchill gave this quote , but we still have the same hobbies and the same opinions. We still have war,corrupt politicians the only thing that has changed is that whenever we have a opinion on  something we have to keep it to ourselves because it could offend or hurt someones feelings. If you say something now days just expect someone to say something to you about how they don't need your pressure on them or how it hurt there feelings. We now have these things in schools called safe zones, like really ? You need a little are on campus to be yourself were no one is supposed to judge you! You need to just grow a pair and face up too it like a adult. I mean your 18,19,20 or older like your entering the adult world they don't have safe zones! You need to prepare for the real world they don't have safe zones at work they just expect you to take it. Either return fire or just let it brush off your shoulder. You don't need a D@#n safe zone if anything they are gonna judge you more for going in one . So in the end opinion is one of the most powerful tools of man because words hurt, that's why we don't give every kid a trophy when they play sports. Like if you didn't win you don't get a participation trophy because then they don't strive for success, like if you reward them for losing i mean who cares if they win ?

There are very reasons this is true, if a manager were to tell you to make a shipment disappear would you do what the manager tells you or what you know is right ? Knowing you did what was right is more important in my opinion . Money is just something for the moment but your integrity is something that everyone will judge forever. For example if you make money the right way people are gonna get jealous for your success and hate you. But if you rob a bank you'll still be known but you'll always be seen as a criminal and thief plus you'll be hated for that reason as well. But if you wanna be that way and get away with it, good for you. But I would rather people know I made it from hard work and not cheating people, than them thinking that I'm somehow cheated the system and caused them to go broke. I've never understood the whole lets all be equal campaign. I'm all for racial equality and woman'd rights stuff like that. But the whole free college thing and everyone's equal, everyone has the same stuff crap I don't get it. If everyone's equal how is their going to be a economic system ? We would have to go back to bartering, trading and selling skills for it to work. I mean its a great idea but if you take from the rich your still stealing . Plus who's gonna pay for the college if it becomes free ? Most people cant afford it anyways that's why there are so many student loans.

So me ranting about this has come to the conclusion that integrity will make you a fine politician but financial success will just lead to a corrupt one. That's what most of our government is made up of sadly.

        B.) They find love in the mystery of the killer ?


3. People like to stare at fires because...
        A.) Its really pretty
        B.)It keeps you warm and you can roast marshmallows on them .

4. Children are more likely to laugh at slapstick comedy than adults because...
         A.) Its a child they are immature like teenagers
         B.) They laugh when they fart and make a big deal out of it so this cant be much different .

5. People collect things like beer mugs, ceramic dolls, and owls because...
         A.) It spawns when they are little , they find something of interest and start collecting  
         B.) Its creeps other people out and they wont want to come over for dinner .

Why do we use foul language ?

 Why do we use foul language in our day to day life ? Is it really necessary , like do we really need to or is it just emphasis ? I do it sometimes out of anger but I personally try not to us e it on a day to day basis because it almost makes us seem savage. It makes us seem so angry , like when you yell S@#T real loud people pay attention and automatically assume that your angry from the tone and loudness of the word. I also think we do it because it makes us seem cool basically one of the crowd or society accepts us only when we talk like them .

Post 5: Accent What Isn't

(Consider a person who behaves differently from others who do the same job)

I work in a grocery store so I see all kinds of people working . I have many peers that work differently than I do , I choose not to be lazy but I cannot say so for them . They do as little as they can so they can get by . I love to go above and beyond but a lump sum of people just don't care there like its my first job I don't have to take it seriously . But it is still a job and you need to do it to the best possible way . I personally don't care for lazy people especially in a work environment , or old people they want all these rights to be able to work where we do but they cant keep up and i have to pick up their slack . I'm not going to mention any names but there are a couple older ladies that work with me that shouldn't even have a job their anymore! They are lazy and they complain way to much, they say ah mt back hurts can you do this for me or clean this for me or go get buggies I'm getting to old for this . If your getting to old for this quit and let someone who needs this job have it . Taking a break every five minutes doesn't help you either , I'm so tired I didn't get a bit of sleep last night , but i work 35hours a week and i am a full time student and I'm up till around 3 every morning and you don't hear me b@#$^&ing about it . I work my butt of to pay for college , and I work all the time for my tax money to pay for these old people's food stamp cards that complain all day long about how they dont have any money for food . well listen hear woman I don't have any at all , come step in my shoes and feel the hocus pocus I'm brocus !

Post 3: Specifics

Nerd..... what exactly is a nerd ?  The dictionary term is someone who is stupid, but In most high schools and in movies its the guy you force to do your biology homework  . So why is the definition different that what we label it is ? In school the smart kid was always called a nerd yet , he had the best grades and was on his way to a excellent college . But by Websters Dictionary he is supposed to be stupid or mentally retarded . So why did we start using this term in this manner ? Its just another word that people have taken out of context to bring someone down or hurt feelings ! Its like being called stupid or dumb , no one wants to be called by one of these names yet we still do it .
Ive been called a nerd many of times just for the fact I'm 18 and still like Star Wars , so what that I like it . Its not different than a grown man making a fantasy football team . I enjoy watching the movies there a good way to pass the time and they give you your childhood back . Enjoying having no worry's just being able to come home from school play with the action figures while you eat a snack and watch the movie .
I strongly dislike name calling , I just don't see the need for it . It hurts the people you care about or it affects a person you didn't think it would . The boy you told no one loves him he committed suicide , the girl you called fat now she doesn't eat she gags herself to loose weight by making herself throw up consonantly .
Names are just a way causing pain and suffering and we would be all the better if no one would use them in this manner of hate .

What's wrong with people ?

What the heck is wrong with people ? Like we don't care about your stupid stick families ! Why would you even put that on your car ? To the old people that cant drive ......... go get your eyes checked because if you cant see me giving you the bird while I'm on your bumper because your going 25 in a 45 lane , you need to just stop driving ! To the old gentleman in Target the other day saying I'm to old to be buying a icee , your to old to be alive ! Why do you people get angry at the cashiers at Walmart , Sam's , Food Lion , Bi-Lo ? were just the cashiers no we don't know the sales , we are not supposed to know where everything is , we cannot give you discounts , we do not appreciate you leaving the shopping carts everywhere , we do not like that you cuss at us because you forgot your ID and now you cant buy alcohol . What the heck are you even doing on the road without a license ?
     To the person in front of me earlier today , it doesn't take that long to order a cheeseburger ! All you have to do is tell them what you want ! Its so fricken simple , to the slow poke in front of me today on they way to school you made me late for class thanks a lot ! I got another tardy because of you I hope that message you were sending was worth it , you could have died dont text and drive sir jerksalot !

Post 1: Confession Time

So its confession time , one the worst possible things I do is ......... not spending enough time with my family . As silly as this sounds , I really don't see them that often and I live with them . Its kinda ridiculous if you think about it , I love my family I have been given a great one . Between school , work and my girlfriend I just don't find the time to see them or do something with them . You can tell that it is affecting them , they were used to me being home all the time but then adult life happened . I don't think they are ready for the change , my mom still thinks of me as a little boy when I'm almost 19. It brings sadness to my heart when I hear them talking about how I'm never home and how my mom has to explain to my little brother why I am never there .

I need to make more time for them but finding it is very hard , I go to school , leave from there to go to work, I don't come home till 11 from work . By then everyone's asleep preparing for the next day , while I stay up all alone . Its not a very fun thing to do , stay up by yourself when you can have the company of friends or family with you . They say you make time for the things that you care about , I think its about time I stay true to this .
